With a mix of condos, loft conversions, and old Victorian homes available to buy, the area has maintained its neighbourhood feel, in spite the influx of cool-seeking residents. Only a short ride west of Toronto’s downtown financial center, it’s a good choice for the business-by-day, art-snob-by-night kind of folks. And while the area still holds on to some elements of its less desirable past, most people who buy real estate here would probably consider that part of its charm.
